I am a native of Port Allen, LA & attended LSU in Baton Rouge where I received a BS in Biochemistry. I subsequently received my medical degree from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. Thereafter, I did my residency in Family Practice at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL (in 1990). Armed & dangerous, I then opened a solo Family Practice office in 1990. Since 2005 I have owned & operated Lagniappe Medical, PA which is my solo practice in St. Pete. I also work for Meridien Research as a Principle Investigator on clinical trials. In 2002 I invented & patented Scopester... which is a unique product for carrying one's stethoscope. Since 2011 I have been broadcasting "Let's Talk Medical with Doctor Gigi" on WTAN 1340-AM Clearwater, which can also be heard live or via podcast on www.SkipShow.com.
